A 'MS GUIDED' VIEW OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS
A bit of a blast from the past. The unrelenting farce of political correctmess makes me feel like a broken levee outside New Orleans. I took care in writing this letter to avoid identifying the gender of my child, but this did not stop the presumption of the enraged responder. Enjoy.

An early run-in with "cultural Marxism" (AKA political correctness) Wally?
Political Correctness = cultural Marxism. This is Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms. If you compare the basic tenets of Political Correctness with classical Marxism the parallels are very obvious.
First of all, both are totalitarian ideologies The totalist nature of Political Correctness is revealed nowhere more clearly than on college campuses, where a student or faculty member who dares transgress the political speech and thought codes set in place by the gender totalists or the homosexual totalists, or the Palestinian or Islamic group totalists, or any of the other charter section 15 (2) "victim" groups which PC revolves around, quickly find themselves in judicial trouble.
Make no mistake about PC being an totalist ideology or collection of totalist ideologies. Indeed, all ideologies are totalitarian to some extent because the essence of an ideology is to take some philosophical theory and say on the basis of this philosophy certain things must be true...such as; "the whole of the history of our culture is the history of the oppression of women and section 15(2) minorities. Since reality contradicts that, reality must be forbidden. It must become forbidden to acknowledge the reality of our own history. People must be forced to live a lie,…that is textbook Marxist historical revisionism.
Second, the cultural Marxism of Political Correctness, like economic Marxism, has a single determining factor to explain of history. Cultural Marxism, or Political Correctness, says that all history is determined by political power, by which identity groups (defined in terms of class, race, sex, etc.), hold power over other identity groups. Nothing else matters. Life becomes a “struggle” to atone for the percieved or imagined inequities of the past and present between oppressed identity groups and their oppressor.
Third, just as in classical economic Marxism certain groups, i.e. workers and peasants, are a priori good, and other groups, i.e., the bourgeoisie and capital owners, are evil. In the cultural Marxism of Political Correctness certain groups are good – feminist women, (only feminist women, non-feminist women are deemed not to exist) Colored people, Natives, homosexuals etc.. These groups are determined to be historical socio-political "victims," and therefore automatically good regardless of what any of them do.Similarly, whites, Christians, conservatives, traditionalists, males (anyone deemed in a majority identity group) are determined automatically to be evil, thereby becoming the equivalent of the bourgeoisie oppressor in economic Marxism.
Fourth, both economic and cultural Marxism rely on deconstruction and expropriation. When the classical Marxists, the communists, took over a country, they expropriated the wealth and power of the target “oppressor” identity group and replaced it with their own. Similarly, when the cultural Marxists take over a university campus or a government bureaucracy, they expropriate through things like quotas for admissions and hiring…they also make sure that only those with the “right politics” are allowed in to authority positions.
And finally, both have a narrow method of omissive- reasoning that automatically gives the answers they want. For the classical Marxist, it’s command economics. For the cultural Marxist, it’s command culture shift through. Deconstrution (critical theory) Deconstruction essentially takes any text, removes all contextual meaning from it and re-inserts any meaning desired to serve the agenda of cultural deconstruction. So you find, for example, that all of Shakespeare is about the oppression of women, or the Bible is really about race and gender oppression and justifying war. All of these texts simply become grist for the cultural marxist assumption mill, which holds that all history is about which identity groups have power over which other identity groups.
PC ‘s cultural marxism did not just fall on us out of the sky by sheer coincidence. The fact of the matter is that Political Correctness has a history. It was spawned in 1930s western Marxist policy think tanks who saw that Bolshevik armed revolution would have limited effect in attempting to subordinate free democratic nations to Marxism. This was where “critical theory” was invented which is the core element of so many of the social pathologies that are today bringing our society, and our culture, down.
Critical theory was and is about deconstructing the existing order of a nation. PC is a derivative.
"What is the theory?" What Critical Theory is about is simply criticizing. It calls for the most destructive criticism possible, in every possible way, designed to bring the current order down. And, of course, when we hear from the feminists and gays and anti-racism radicals that the whole of our society is designed to oppress women, gays, minorities and so on, that kind of PC criticism is a direct derivative of Marxist Critical Theory.
In conclusion, Canada today is in the throws of the greatest and direst transformation in its history. We are becoming an ideological state, a culture with an official state ideology enforced by the power of state institutions. In this shift to cultural marxist ideologies we see dissenting opinion and principled opposition to PC codes made into crimes and pseudo crimes with political witch hunt star chambers to dole out intimidating atonements for political deviance.
Recognize political correctness for what it is: cultural Marxism. Then become active to disempower and marginalize any movement, institution, administrator or politician who espouses this degenerate toatalist orthodoxy. Your personal freedom and that of your nation depends on it.

I never read Marxism, nor any of the other ism books. I was suspended from high school several times, and eventually expelled outright. My poor mother had to swallow teacher comments, the most common was insolence, and the most memorable for her was being told that I was a round peg in a square hole.
I florished in college where the "authorities" didn't give a shit about me.
I took a couple courses in psychology and sociology and found these to be exceedingly destructive to my freedom. The language was offensive.
Sociologese, psychologese, managementese, administrativese, militarese, etc etc, smelled like a new car -- that is to say, sterile. Didn't smell like reality.
It took a while to decontaminate my brain with the the crap attached to the language of 'ese'
If the language is the sister, the brother is ideology. I could not stomach the ism, the ideology of anything -- it smelled like confinement.

One of my first jobs required me to join a union. I quit after a week. I have never joined the Writer's Union of Canada, the cdn League of Poets, or other orgs. I grant that they would have been beneficial to me in some regards, but I liked being a round peg.
You are a prime target for cutural marxist vengence. You have contempt for the prime directive of CM/PC as a ideology that being; conformity Conformity of mind and action and dedication to forcing others into conformity to an idea which is easily proven fallible.
It really is a dyslexic world when non conformity to self destructive ideas is deemed a crime.
Why isn't the ethic of leaving people alone and keeping them free to realize their own idealism held as a moral paragon?
Instead the "ism" dictates mandatory conformity to a uninform ideal...the core of ideological statism...the political arm of cultural marxism.
When I at Loyalist College of Applied Arts & Technology in Belleville (71-72) the student council asking me to acquire a parade permit from Belleville City Council for an anti-Vietnam War rally & march. I got the necessary permits.
I was editor of the student newspaper and I was asked to be a speaker at the rally. I remember how their jaws fell to the floor when I told them that they might want to rethink their invitation to me because I held that the purpose of war was victory.
I explained that the Americans should either invade and defeat the north or get the hell out.
So why did I help them get a permit they asked? Free speech. Needless to say, they rescinded their offer for me to speak.
In my teen years, in the absence of a father, I was very lucky to have two men who became my mentors -- Peter Kolisnyk, an artist, and Foster Russell, publisher of the Cobourg Sentinel-Star, the only Canadian to have won the Parish Lovejoy Award for Courage in Journalism. They never coddled me -- they challenged me and they dared me. It was wonderful
